Next Generation Sequencing

Encore® Complete RNA-Seq Library Systems

(PN 0333, 0334)

Encore Complete RNA-Seq Library Systems provide an end-to-end solution for strand-specific RNA-Seq library construction using as little as 100 ng of total RNA. The core technology used in this product enriches for non-rRNA in NGS libraries during cDNA synthesis, and can be applied to transcriptomes extracted from a broad range of higher eukaryotes. The first strand cDNA synthesis is carried out using proprietary primers to create double-stranded cDNA which retains RNA strand information. No dedicated steps are required to reduce rRNA levels. The resulting cDNA is converted to NGS libraries using reagents and adaptors provided in the same kit. The Encore Complete RNA-Seq Multiplex Systems provide optional barcoding for multiplex experiments to further optimize efficiencies and cost savings in transcriptome sequencing. 

Ovation® Complete Prokaryotic RNA-Seq DR Multiplex Systems

Ovation Complete Prokaryotic RNA-Seq Library Systems provide an end-to-end solution for strand-specific RNA-Seq library construction using as little as 100 ng of total RNA obtained from pure cultures of bacteria or mixed populations. The core technology used in this product enriches for non-rRNA in NGS libraries during cDNA synthesis, and can be applied to transcriptomes extracted from a broad range of prokaryotes. The first strand cDNA synthesis is carried out using proprietary primers to create double-stranded cDNA, which retains RNA strand information. The resulting cDNA is converted to NGS libraries using reagents and barcoded adaptors provided in the same kit.

Ovation® Cancer Panel and Cancer Panel FFPE Target Enrichment Systems

Ovation Cancer Panel Target Enrichment System and Ovation Cancer Panel FFPE Target Enrichment System are pre-defined cancer panels for fresh tissue DNA and FFPE DNA respectively and target 344 cancer-related genes published in Nature Biotechnology 29, pp. 1024-1027 (2011). Both panels employ the proprietary Single Primer Enrichment Technology (SPET) to create multiplexed libraries for targeted resequencing. Ovation® Custom Target Enrichment System

(PN 9XXX)

Ovation Target Enrichment System employs Single Primer Enrichment Technology (SPET) and provides a complete custom target enrichment and multiplex library preparation solution for targeted resequencing. Fully customizable probe design enables the interrogation of up to 10 Mb of custom content defined by the user and works with as little as 10 ng of fresh/frozen tissue gDNA or total RNA as well as DNA or total RNA isolated from FFPE tissue. A novel barcoding design allows both a high degree of sample multiplexing and the unambiguous identification of true PCR duplicates. Please refer to Section II for a complete description of SPET.

Ovation® Fusion Panel Target Enrichment System

Ovation Fusion Panel Target Enrichment System employs the proprietary Single Primer Enrichment Technology (SPET) to produce multiplexed enriched libraries for sequencing and includes pre-defined content for all exons of 500 genes identified by the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute's Catalog of Somatic Mutations in Cancer (COSMIC) and ChimerDB 2.0 as being involved in fusion events In addition to pre-defined content, the technology is suitable for custom fusion panels with researcher defined content in the range of target sizes from a few kb to ~10Mb from any sequenced genome source. Ovation® Human Blood RNA-Seq Library Systems

Ovation Human Blood RNA-Seq Library Systems provide an end-to-end solution for strand-specific RNA-Seq library construction using as little as 100 ng of total RNA obtained from adult human whole blood. Insert Dependent Adaptor Cleavage (InDA-C) technology provides targeted depletion of unwanted high abundance transcripts and results in a significant reduction in sequencing reads derived from human rRNA (12S, 16S, 18S and 28S genes) and adult human reticulocyte globin (HBA1, HBA2, HBB and HBD genes) for more efficient use of sequencing resources. Ovation® Human FFPE RNA-Seq Systems

Ovation Human FFPE RNA-Seq Systems provide an end-to-end solution for strand-specific RNA-Seq library construction using nanogram amounts of total RNA obtained from human tissues or cell lines. The workflow is equally suitable for good quality RNA from fresh-frozen samples down to 10 ng, or preserved RNA derived from FFPE samples down to 100 ng. Insert Dependent Adaptor Cleavage (InDA-C) technology provides targeted depletion of unwanted high abundance transcripts and results in a significant reduction in sequencing reads derived from human rRNA (12S, 16S, 18S and 28S genes) for more efficient use of sequencing resources. Ovation® Human Mitochondrion Target Enrichment System

Ovation Human Mitochondrion Target Enrichment System is a pre-defined panel covering the entire mitochondrial genome. The panel employs the proprietary Single Primer Enrichment Technology (SPET) to create multiplexed libraries for targeted resequencing. Please refer to Section II for a complete description of SPET.

Ovation® Rapid Library Systems

Ovation Rapid Library Systems enable NGS library construction starting with as little as 100 ng of double-stranded DNA, without PCR amplification. The library construction workflow is suitable for a wide range of sequencing applications including RNA-Seq, Digital Gene Expression (DGE), genomic DNA sequencing, amplicon sequencing and more.

Ovation® Target Capture Module

Ovation Target Capture Module provides library adaptor-specific blocking reagents to enable target capture workflows with NuGEN® library solutions for the Illumina® NGS platforms and has been optimized for the SureSelect Target Enrichment System from Agilent Technologies.

Ovation® Single Cell RNA-Seq System

(PN 0342)

Ovation Single Cell RNA-Seq System provides an end-to-end solution for strand-specific RNA-Seq library construction using as little as 10 pgs of total RNA. The core technology used in this product enriches for non-rRNA in NGS libraries during cDNA synthesis, and can be applied to transcriptomes from a broad range of vertebrate species. The first strand cDNA synthesis is carried out using proprietary whole transcriptome primers that target non-rRNA sequences in the transcriptome. No dedicated steps are required to reduce rRNA levels. The resulting cDNA is converted to strand retained NGS libraries using reagents provided in the same kit.

Ovation® RNA-Seq Systems for Model Organisms

Ovation RNA-Seq Systems for Model Organisms provide an end-to-end workflow for strand-specific RNA-Seq library construction using nanogram amounts of total RNA obtained from a broad range of model organisms such as mouse, rat, Drosophila and Arabidopsis. Insert Dependent Adaptor Cleavage (InDA-C) technology enables targeted depletion of unwanted transcripts, and minimizes sequencing reads derived from these transcripts. RNA-Seq sample preparation solutions for model organisms are designed to minimize levels of both cytoplasmic and mitochondrial rRNA, and in the case of Arabidopsis, chloroplast rRNA as well. Please refer to Section II for a complete description of InDA-C.

Ovation® RNA-Seq FFPE System

Ovation RNA-Seq FFPE System employs Ribo-SPIA® technology and provides a method for preparation of amplified double-stranded cDNA from FFPE-derived total RNA for RNA-Seq applications (transcriptome sequencing). Amplification is initiated at the 3' end as well as randomly throughout the transcriptome , making the Ovation RNA-Seq FFPE System ideal for the severely degraded and chemically modified RNA typically obtained from FFPE samples. Ovation® RNA-Seq System V2

Ovation RNA-Seq System V2 is based on Ribo-SPIA® technology, and provides a fast and simple method for preparing amplified cDNA from as little as 500 pg total RNA. The Ovation RNA-Seq System V2 is optimized for the generation of double-stranded cDNA suitable for sequencing library construction for use with a variety of NGS platforms. Ovation® RRBS Methyl-Seq System

(PN 0353)

Ovation RRBS Methyl-Seq System provides a solution for producing reduced representation Methyl-Seq libraries used in conjunction with bisulfite sequencing to analyze DNA methylation. Reduced Representation Bisulfite Sequencing or RRBS is a method that delivers genome-wide quantitative DNA methylation information at single base resolution. The Ovation RRBS Methyl-Seq System overcomes the problem of low base diversity by incorporating a variable number of adaptor-derived random bases at the beginning of the read, providing both dephasing of the initial YGG and nucleotide diversity in the critical early cycles used for cluster identification. In addition, the library construction workflow is simplified by using adaptors containing 5' CG overhangs. This enables ligation to MspI-digested inserts and eliminates the need for end repair and A-tailing steps.

Ovation® Ultralow Library Systems

Ovation Ultralow Library Systems provide a solution for producing libraries used for next-generation sequencing starting with 1 to 100 ng of DNA. The library construction workflow is suitable for a wide range of sequencing applications, including RNA-Seq, Digital Gene Expression (DGE), genomic DNA sequencing, target capture, amplicon sequencing, ChIP-Seq and more. The Ovation Ultralow Multiplex Systems provide optional barcoding to further optimize efficiencies and cost savings in transcriptome sequencing.

Ovation® Ultralow Methyl-Seq Library Systems

Ovation Ultralow Methyl-Seq Library Systems provide a solution for producing libraries used in conjunction with bisulfite sequencing to analyze DNA methylation. The system requires as little as 10 ng of DNA, thereby enabling methylation studies with a broad range of sample types. The protocol is compatible with whole genome bisulfite sequencing.

Ovation® Universal RNA-Seq System

Ovation Universal RNA-Seq System provides a solution for strand-specific RNA-Seq library construction using nanogram amounts of total RNA obtained from a broad range of tissues or cell lines. Insert Dependent Adaptor Cleavage (InDA-C) technology enables targeted depletion of unwanted transcripts using a customizable process and can be applied to essentially any transcript type to reduce uninformative sequencing reads for more efficient use of sequencing resources. Ovation® FFPE WTA System

(PN 3403)

Ovation FFPE WTA System is a whole transcriptome RNA amplification system based on Ribo-SPIA® technology and optimized for gene expression analysis of limited and degraded FFPE RNA samples. Amplification is initiated both at the 3' end and randomly throughout the entire transcriptome, enabling downstream analysis by real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR) or microarrays. Ovation® One-Direct System

(PN 3500)

Ovation One-Direct System employs Ribo-SPIA® amplification technology and enables whole-transcriptome gene expression analysis from a single cell. This prepares targets for microarray or qPCR analysis, and is specifically designed to enable the direct interrogation of cell lysate, eliminating the need for RNA purification. Purified total RNA inputs of as little as 10 pg may also be used. See Section II below for full description of the Ribo-SPIA® technology.

Ovation® Pico WTA System V2

The Ovation Pico WTA System V2 is a whole transcriptome RNA amplification system based on Ribo-SPIA® technology, which initiates amplification at both the 3' end and randomly throughout the entire transcriptome. This sample preparation solution is intended for use with limited or degraded RNA samples such as LCM, FACS, biopsies, FNA and other limited biological specimens. Ovation® PicoSL WTA System V2

Ovation PicoSL WTA System V2 is a whole transcriptome RNA amplification solution based on Ribo-SPIA® technology, which initiates amplification at both the 3' end and randomly throughout the entire transcriptome. This solution is optimized for preparation of cDNA targets for Illumina Whole Genome Expression BeadChips or Agilent Dual-Mode Gene Expression Arrays using as little as 500 pgs to 50 ngs of total RNA. Ovation® qPCR System

A whole transcriptome RNA amplification solution based on Ribo-SPIA® technology that is specifically designed for pre-amplification prior to real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR) applications. Amplification is initiated at both the 3' end and randomly throughout the transcriptome providing flexibility in qPCR assay design. Ovation® RNA Amplification System V2

(PN 3100)

A 3'-focused RNA amplification solution based on Ribo-SPIA® technology for use with intact and non-compromised RNA samples. The add-and-incubate process is amenable to high throughput applications, and enables downstream analysis on Affymetrix 3’ GeneChip expression arrays or by qPCR. Ovation® Whole Blood Solution

Ovation Whole Blood Solution consists of a suite of optimized products and protocols for global gene expression profiling of whole blood RNA without the need for globin reduction procedures.
