Four libraries are joining the Up North Live Consortium.  Questions have arisen on filling out the form which is supposed to be submitted by July 8.  The answers to some of the document questions are as follows.

ILS Vendor Protocol: XML HTTP Authentication
ILS Vendor Server: www.libnet.org
All the rest of the server questions do not apply
 
Library Card Format: Is dependant on your particular patron barcodes.  Card length is whatever the length of the patron barcode and prefix is the first digit of the barcode.  Usually this is 9.  Under other rules you can put checkdigit if you have that feature turned on.
Because we will be using XML HTTP Authentication to verify that the patrons do indeed belong to your library, I don't believe the Library Card Format is that important. 
XML HTTP Authentication will allow for realtime automated patron authentification to your library.  I see no need to supply a password, but that is up to you.  Please let me know if you think this is important.  There will be a small fee for the development of this service.
